OUR SERVICES

Historic Restoration

  • Specializing in the restoration and replication of historic decorative painting, care is taken to ensure the finishes are duplicated exactly in colour, texture and medium as well as using the same tools and mediums originally used in the process (when possible).

  • We will identify original paint colors and finishes in a surface reveal and recommend proper techniques for the restoration process.

  • The studio team can repair, or in some extreme cases, recreate damaged finishes and restore historic paintings on plaster, wood, canvas or any type of surface.

  • We work closely with Historians, Architects, Contractors and Owners to problem solve issues using our knowledge and expertise in restoration techniques and materials.
