Glazing - March 15
Students will leave with an understanding of the properties of a glaze which is the basis for many architectural paint finishes (such as marbling and wood graining). A glaze is what gives the illusion of depth. Various heritage finishes will be taught utilizing this clear, slow-drying medium and pigments. Finishes such as ragging, stippling, aging, strie, clouds, stipple & wipe and stenciling will be taught.
